The Winslow Studio Kitchen Design Process

Winslow Design Studio Is With You Step By Step

Winslow Design Studio strives to create a unique environment that allows ultimate functionality with the client’s objectives in mind. Once the functional aspect has been determined, the incorporation of the style element based on the client’s desires begins. Passion is a creative experience that draws from each individual’s perception of the ultimate kitchen or other space. The client typically shares their ideas and then we begin shaping their desires into a practical design.

Below is a breakdown of every step in our design process.

Initial Contact

You will visit the showroom, determine the style, color, and accessories you would like, complete a specification sheet, and schedule your first consultation with one of our designers.

Design Appointment

The designer will gather specifics about your project and decide about a site visit (remodel) or a plan review (field measure). You will then select appliances and plumbing options (if any) at our recommended shops.

Creative Process

You will work with the design department, sign the Initial Design and Purchase Agreement for drawings, select slabs, glass, hardware, and tops. The design fee is due at this time.

Conceptual/Design Review

There will be an appointment to review the drawings and the initial cost details for the project. After agreeing on the design you will be allowed to make 1-2 subsequent design changes.

Second Design Review and/or Selection

The designer will present material and finish options to you for selection. Both you and the designer will sign off on the selection sheet and initial the final drawings.
